Past(ic) Surgery (Final Draft)

It cannot be denied that those who have good appearances are always considered having better chances. It is because they are attractive and charming, like they have some magic spelling on you. That is why many people find many ways to improve themselves for being one of those perfect people and, of course, having good opportunities. The ways to do so are vary from one to one another such as makeup, clothes, and surgery. The surgery, like we know it well, is the best way to improve yourselves which can change your appearances completely.

In the past, people who did plastic surgery dared not to accept to other people. They always refused even though it was obvious that their appearances were already changed. People who did the plastic surgery were those who had problem with their bodies. The first person who did the surgery is Walter Yeo, the soldier in World War I. He got a terrible wound on his face. In 1917 he was treated by Sir Harold Gillies - the first man to use skin grafts from undamaged areas on the body - and know as 'the father of plastic surgery'. The surgery in that time was not perfect, but it could change his life to be better than doing nothing about the wound. The surgery has been developed all the time to be more and more natural, but people still thought that it was not for ordinary people to do. You must have some parts of body which were abnormal that made you do it. That is why they did not accept the truth that they did the surgery. However, the time has passed, many people also has changed their minds, especially when Korean stars are popular. The stars all have perfect looks; high noses, light skin, big eyes, and small lips. Therefore, it is a new trend of beauty, especially in Asia. The only way to have that kind of beauty is to do the plastic surgery. Nowadays people think that it is not matter to do the plastic surgery if the result is good.

Plastic surgery, in the present, is not the big issue like in the past anymore because it is widely accepted. Many people do the surgery because of different reasons such as beauty or opportunities. Doing the surgery is ok now unless you addict to it.

Plump people may be defined as ugly in many societies or cultures while others are different. MXsifear wrote on studymode.com that in many other countries, to be skinny enough to show off one’s bones would mean that they are living in poverty; while an excessive amount of weight would show that the individual lives in a higher class in society. It shows us that, from the data above, there still are many countries like overweight people, but there are not more than a half. The last one, setting your goals to keep you motivated. If you follow these steps controlling weight, you will have an ideal shape healthily.

Pros and Cons of Fast Food Consumption (Final Draft)

Nowadays we can see that people prefer to eat outside their houses or order from fast food restaurants. As a result of these, the popularity of fast food restaurants has increased highly. This is also related to price and change in life-style. On the other hand, do not forget that eating fast foods is linked to health risks.

People are attracted by price because fast food restaurants are cheaper than other restaurants and they offer many meals at very low prices. Changing in life-style is one of the reasons that people choose to eat at fast food restaurants. They don’t have time so they think choosing fast food is quicker than cooking a meal. It’s very convenient, people just walk in, pay, and meal is ready.
The dark side of consuming the convenient meals is linked to risks of illness and disease. One study discovered that a person who eats fast food at least twice a week will gain at least ten extra pounds (Thomas C. Weiss, Disabled World - Jun 17, 2013). If you consume fast foods in large amounts, you will probably overweight. In addition, obesity causes heart disease, type 2 diabetes, stroke, fatty liver, and some cancers.
